She's from a version of Earth. She was 17 when she first came here. She's been for approximately 20 years, and has been through 20-25 resets. She became the keeper when the one before her decided they didn't want to do the job before.
The spirits are pretty defensive of the lighthouse (or her, or both...). She has some degree of control over them.
I see. And what do we who are trapped here make of this keeper of ours?
[ He can't be the first person to look upon the red light and wonder as to just how sinister all this is. He doesn't have enough data to draw conclusions yet, but. To filethose facts away as the full story would be foolish. ]
I think it's difficult for anyone to grow much over 20 years if they don't have the stimulus, and being trapped somewhere like here as a 17 year old... I think she's still a kid. A kid that's had a rough time of it and probably had to make some awful decisions. It's difficult to say at this point how much of a say she really has.
I don't think she's malicious, if that's what you're asking.
As for here. It's a pocket dimension, right? That's about the long and short of it. Contrary to semi-popular opinion, I DON'T think the way out's going to be on a boat. I don't even think the boat serves as much more than decoration and a convenient vessel.
The boat is unlikely to be more than a focal point of entry. If you wish to take subjects from their designated point in their designated universe, you could take care to seamlessly integrate them into the point of destination on a metaphysical level to varying degrees, or you could merely find a specific point to push them through. The former requires a lot of ower and attetion to detail. The latter is much more time and energy efficient.
[ Castiel, it seems, agrees with Peter. ]
You've had experience with the existence of other dimensions, pocket or otherwise?
I assure you, unlike many of my kind I value humanity greatly. For all your flaws, you've brought countless wonders to the world. My kind was meant to be divine perfection, and I've found us lacking in comparison.

I've contacted the keeper, though I doubt I can offer much in the way of answers.
What can you tell me about her?

I'm not sure there's an overall consensus. She's the scapegoat for a vocal minority, but as an overall I'd say opinion is mostly distrustful.

You've been here some time. Do you have a personal hypothesis then?

...And I know a few people who've had less than theoretical experiences.
Beyond that? Not really. I've barely left New York.

Well done.

In spite of our efforts, maybe.

Which means as far as backhanded compliments go: that doesn't even hit top five.
